Phil Jacokes is a highly seasoned executive with a strong background in operations leadership and cutting-edge software/technology products, with first-hand experience in successfully starting, building and growing profitable organizations. A proven, collaborative leader and entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience, Phil is ready to apply his expertise, skills and creative problem solving to help take Precision Health to the next level. Phil earned his MBA from Wayne State University and is a U-M alum where he received his BA in Communication.

Phil comes to us from the Max Harry Weil Institute of Critical Care Research and Innovation at Michigan Medicine, where he served as the Managing Director for the past 8 years. During his time guiding the Weil Institute, some of his accomplishments include:

• Working with 230 members across 43 departments , Mentors-In-Residences, and Innovation Partnerships to receive 67 patents, license 47 products, and spin off 9 new companies
• Forming relationships with HITS to launch PICTURE analytic into Epic and deliver it to the RRT team in MyChart.
• Developing a custom solution to capture monitor data from hospital patients
• Partnering with Development to secure funding needed to transition from a Center (MCIRCC) to an Institute (Weil)
