Congratulations to two dynamic Precision Health members

Exciting news to share for two of our incredible Precision Health members. Congrats are in order for both Dr. Mukherjee and Dr. Choe:

Dr. Bhramar Mukherjee, John D. Kalbfleisch Collegiate Professor and chair of Biostatistics at University of Michigan School of Public Health has been awarded the university’s highest professorship of Distinguished University Professor. The Distinguished University Professorship recognizes exceptional senior faculty and their contributions to academic excellence. Dr. Mukherjee is a member of Precision Health, as well as Precision Health’s prior Cohort Development Workgroup Leader. Read more here: https://lnkd.in/gV9x99Yk

Dr. Hae Mi Choe, PharmD, associate dean for pharmacy innovations and partnerships at University of Michigan College of Pharmacy has been named Chief Population Health Officer for Michigan Medicine.

In this role, Dr. Choe will lead and collaborate with leadership and staff throughout the health system and the community to develop programs and promote a culture to improve the health of populations and lower the cost of care. She will focus particularly on enabling and strengthening value-based care arrangements as well as innovative partnerships within and outside the University of Michigan.
